Dr. Jason Liu

Dr. Jason Liu (NZ Registered Acupuncturist, ACC accredited)​

 

Jason Liu is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Doctor with more than 20 years of experience. He gained his license to practice back in 1991, Taiwan. His qualification includes Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. His family immigrated to NZ back in 1995 but he remained in Taiwan to support them financially. In 2004 Dr Jason gained his NZ Diploma (Level 7) in TCM Acupuncture and started a new chapter in his career, settling in NZ with his family. He opened AcuPhysioHealth in Manurewa back in 2005. 

Joey Hung

Joey Hung (NZ Registered Physiotherapist, ACC accredited)

 

Joey has worked part-time at the clinic since 2007 as a deep-tissue massage therapist.  He graduated from the Auckland University of Technology in 2010 and now works full time at the clinic.   In his spare time, Joey enjoys playing badminton and basketball.  

Jimmy Liu

Jimmy Liu (NZ Registered Acupuncturist, ACC accredited)

 

Jimmy has a Bachelor of Biomedicine from Auckland University, and a Masters degree in Bioscience Enterprise.  His passion for helping others led him to further his studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The combination of both Biomedicine and TCM gives him a better understanding of the human system, and allows him to understand his patients problems from a number of different perspectives.  Jimmy has a strong interest, and has received extensive training, in treating infertility, headache, weight loss and pain management with acupuncture and herbal medicines. In his free time, Jimmy enjoys reading and playing basketball. 

May Tsai

May Tsai (NZ Registered Acupuncturist, ACC accredited)

 

May Tsai was a nurse and social worker back in Taiwan before immigrating to New Zealand in 2005.   When she first arrived in Auckland she studied English and worked part-time caring for the elderly in a rest home. She completed her studies and gained her Bachelors degree in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture in 2011.  When she can manage it, May loves to walk around the nearby Botanic Gardens, enjoying the natural beauty, peace and tranquility they offer.
